Updated
Batch screening means checking a list of people or companies in one workflow instead of submitting each name separately. A useful process combines consistent input, row-level results and human review of potential matches. ScreenVeritAI accepts up to 100 rows per CSV/XLSX file; choose Quick Check, Adverse Media Check or Full Search for the file.
What this workflow covers
- Use consistent name spelling and remove accidental whitespace before upload.
- Organize people and companies so reviewers can compare the right identifiers.
- Use one decision matrix for exact and fuzzy matches to keep outcomes consistent.
- Record analyst rationale per row to support audit and quality reviews.
Compliance glossary

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is batch screening?
Batch screening checks a list of people or companies in one workflow instead of submitting each name separately. ScreenVeritAI accepts up to 100 rows per CSV/XLSX file and returns row-level results for review.
How does batch screening work?
Prepare a file with a name column and optional country, choose one screening product for the file, then upload it. The job processes rows asynchronously. Review completed results, resolve failed rows and record your decisions before closing the review.
What can I check in a batch?
Choose Quick Check for sanctions, PEP/RCA and criminal watchlists; Adverse Media Check for news research; or Full Search for screening with name expansion, written AI review and basic adverse media. Deep Research Report is a separate per-case product and is not accepted in batch.
What is the difference between batch and single screening?
Single screening submits one name, often during onboarding or a case review. Batch screening submits a file of names and lets you track them together. Both run asynchronously in ScreenVeritAI; wait for completed evidence before making a decision.
How often should you run batch screening?
Set a review cadence for your portfolio based on its risk, applicable requirements and changes in customer information or relevant lists. Record the last completed check and keep unresolved rows visible. A batch job is a point-in-time check, not an ongoing monitoring subscription.
What file formats and limits apply?
ScreenVeritAI accepts CSV and XLSX files with up to 100 rows and a maximum size of 2 MB. The API accepts a multipart file upload, then provides job status, row results and a CSV export. Use a consistent search type across the file and split larger lists into separate jobs.
What should reviewers save from a batch check?
Keep the submitted name, completed result, source references, date and your review decision for each row. Investigate errors and possible matches separately; an incomplete check is not a completed clearance. Store exports according to your own retention policy.
