EU-hosted sanctions screening
European hosting. A clear view of your data flow.
ScreenVeritAI runs its application and primary screening-record database on European Hetzner infrastructure. Assess the whole workflow: list screening, AI review and live research use different processing paths.
- Application and records
- European hosting for the platform and its primary database.
- Workflow-level disclosure
- External AI and public-web research are identified separately.
- Retention controls
- Account settings support automatic deletion of older name-screening records.
What happens to the information you submit?
| Workflow | Processing | What to assess |
|---|---|---|
| Quick Check | Search of screening datasets; some source checks use live lookups. | Submitted names and source requests. This is not a promise of an offline-only check. |
| Full Search | List screening plus AI query expansion, match review and research. | Names, context and candidate evidence may go to external AI and search providers. |
| Adverse Media / Deep Research | Public-web research and AI reporting. | Search queries and relevant research material are processed externally. |
| Crypto Address Check | Exact OFAC identifier lookup; optional Ethereum native-USDC issuer-block check. | The optional issuer check sends the address to an Ethereum RPC service. |
Hosting location is one part of the assessment.
External providers have their own processing locations and terms. This service does not make a blanket EU-only, zero-retention or no-training guarantee across every AI, search and infrastructure service.
Before using the platform for a programme with strict residency requirements, share the workflows and restrictions you need assessed. Ask for the provider chain, storage and backup locations, retention terms and any contractual safeguards required by your organisation.
Keep evidence for the period your policy requires.
Name-screening record settings support automatic deletion after 1, 5, 7 or 10 years, or manual deletion. With automatic deletion disabled, records remain until deleted or the account is closed. Backups have a separate retention schedule.
PDF exports support evidence retention for saved name-screening results. They are not immutable archival records or a guarantee that an old PDF can always be regenerated identically. Crypto address records have no separate automatic retention setting or portal history.
Bring concrete requirements to procurement.
Name the workflow
Identify whether you need deterministic list checks, AI review, public-source research or crypto source checks.
List the constraints
State residency, retention, access and contract requirements before submitting sensitive cases.
Agree the scope
Review the relevant provider information and written terms with your organisation’s responsible team.
Questions, answered.
Does EU hosting mean all processing stays inside the EU?
No. The platform and its primary records are EU-hosted, while AI, web research, payment and other external services have separate processing terms and locations. Assess those services for the workflows you intend to use.
Is ScreenVeritAI available as an on-premise product?
The public offer is the hosted platform and API. An on-premise deployment is not included in the published plans.
